Emachine et1831-05 steps to connect to a wireless network

We just moved and I am trying to connect this computer to our AT&T wireless network. I am guessing that this compute is incapable of picking up wireless connection? How can I connect? I am going through circles trying to connect it. We have a "pluglink" something that AT&T gave us that goes from the wall to a socket in the computer.

  1. Have you added a wireless card or USB adapter to the machine? You will need one of the other for wireless, and I would suggest the USB dongle over an add-in card.

The pluglink is a powerline type adapter -- it plugs into a wall power socket and can carry an Ethernet connection from your router (if it has an Ethernet LAN connector free) to another wall power socket near your computer. Do you have two of the pluglinks?
