My last thread about this

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum2.php?config=tom...

According to my last thread i decided to buy a wireless router to share my internet connection with mobile.. I got stuck again.. What is the difference between Wireless Access point and Wireless router? What should i buy? I have a ADSL internet connection and I want to share it with my mobile via WiFi.. And i want to share the internet connection with PC via a wired connection..

Thanks in advance..

Basically, if you turn off the router DHCP server you have a wireless AP. Buy a wireless router and configure it as an AP -- cheaper and more versatile. Something like a DLink DIR-655 works well, good inexpensive N wireless and 4 gigabit Ethernet ports.

Yes it would, but you don't need to spend that much as all you need is a wireless router and that is a DSL modem and wireless router.

From that site, the one you selected will work fine, and you can probably just use it in place of the other modem, as it adds the wireless capability to what you have now.

There is no 3G connectivity in the place i live and if i want to browse net from my phone i have to use GPRS/EDGE.. It take years to load a page.. So the wifi is my only help.. I am going to buy that tomorrow. Thank you for helping me.. Really appreciate that..
