I am having problems connecting to the internet. I phoned Sky tech guys and they couldn't find the problem and that it is connected.

Then I get an error code 102 refused connection to the server. I have had our tech guy at work look and he also couldn't find it. I am not sure where to go now.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Press your Windows key and R together then at the open box, type cmd then press Enter. A black form appears wit a Command Prompt. At that, type the following including teh spaces:-
ipconfig /flushdns
then press Enter.

A success message might appear then at the Command Prompt again, type:-
ipconfig /all
and press Enter again. Right click anywhere in that black form and press Enter. That places all the text into your Clipboard so open a Notepad or Word document, press Control and V together to place that text into that document. Then, copy and paste it back here so we can see what's going on in there.
