Dumb RAID Question...

Hi, This is probably a dumb question but im just wondering if I buy a motherboard equipped with RAID, do i have to hook up my hard drives using RAID or can they still be set up as normal IDE...thanks

Most MB will allow you to configure, by jumper, either IDE or RAID. My ASUS board is that way.
