I have been for the last few days been trying to achieve the following:
I want to be able to dial out to a customer with a dialer (like Phone Dialer in Windows 2000), let them listen to my audio work for them, be able to listen to their suggestions via my PC speakers and be able to record the convo for future reference.
I figured I should be able to do this with a hardware voice modem connected with a analog audio cable from the modem to the sound card via the TAD-IN.
So far, I have had no luck.
Any suggestions?
I am using Windows 2000 Professional. I have a SB Audigy Gamer Retail, I was using an USR 3298 MODEM but I am going to try USR (2976) 56K V.90 w/ Voice as drivers for Windows 2000 are available on USR's website.
I am open to other suggestions on the hardware. I just want this to work.
