Hi - can anyone tell me what the .pvr video format is? I recently got a new
satellite receiver with built in hard disc the contents of which are
accessable via USB link to my PC. I'd like to be able to record programs
copied across to the PC to disc - can it be done?

Have you tried to open the files in a media player? perhaps change the
file extension to .mpg
