How do I get my Gateway laptop to sense wireless signal

My Gateway laptop has stopped sensing wireless signal. It was working just fine a few hours ago, then after I pulled it out of hibernate it stopped sensing the signal. I have switched the button off and on at least 3 times, tried restarting and turning off and starting. Have also tried the Fn-F2 a number of times but still no luck. Try 'System Restore' to an earlier date and time when everything was working fine.

Have your tried plugging in using an Ethernet cable? Also check in your control panel to see if the wireless adapter is showing up in your network adapters section.
