Problem while installing CDRom Drive...

I just bought a new CDRom Drive and installed it as the master drive and took my old CDRW and placed it as the slave. Problem is, my new CD Rom drive works but my CDRW doesn't anymore. It lights up so I know power is getting through but it won't read, and displays it as a DVD drive. I've tried putting them both on Cable Select but that hasn't worked either, anyone know what's wrong?

did you try making the cd rw master? how does it show it in the bios?

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
