I need help deciding what home ntheater system to buy. I almost bought
a Bose Lifestyle 18 but decided to check it out on the net first only
to find out it is an OLD model. I will mostly use it for listening to
music 9for the living room) as I already have a home theater set-up in
the family room.

any suggestions or ideas?

And there have been such HUGE advances in fashion-object audio systems
in the last few years :-)

If you like the sound, look and facilities of the Bose, get it. A
newer model won't sound any different. Might have slightly different
gimmicks. And you should be able to negotiate a good price as it's
an older model.

If you're more into sound than appearance, I'm sure you know you can
do a lot better and a LOT cheaper :-)
