Hey team,
I dont know WHAT the problem is.. but I am suspecting it is my GeForce 2MMX 400 64MB PCI video card. Right now I have;
400w PSU
T-bird 1.4
Amptron 830-XLM Mobo
Creative Sound Blaster PCI512
US Robotics modem
Networking card
GeForce2 MMX 400 PCI 64MB

I have had my computer taken away for about 5 months..and as far as I can rember..everytime I boot up and get into windows...about 2 minutes into windows my computer locks up and the screen starts having vertical lines. I dont know what the freak is the problem..but I am tired of it. I am trying to get on the internet to play my games..but how can I if the computer is always locking up? I've checked everything and it is plenty cool inside the computer. I am at whits end and can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong. Any suggestions or others expirencing the same difficulty?

Have you overclocked?
If so: Try lower the MHZ´s.

How cool is your computer?
like 30c, 60c, 70c?

Do you have the latest drivers for the mobo and GPU?

Perhaps there is some sort of conflict between either the Soundcard/graphicscard/networkcard?

Have you tried reseating the graphicscard into the PCI slot?

Is the Graphics card fan working?(if it has one that is), it might be overheating

Try taking out the soundcard, networkcard and the modem (if internal) and see if that solves anything.

This is my new sig.
