I have a bass head that has a DI output and I'd like to try it out in
the studio.
It has a tube preamp section, but a solid state power amp section ...
so i'm wonder what i need to do in terms of a dummy load if I'm not
going to run the cabinet with it. Can i simply use a resistive load?
Does the solid state amp require a dummy load?

Nope, unless it gets cold in there and you need some extra heat
