xcopy problems

does anybody know of a way to copy the entire contents of a hdd to another while in windows...besides the copy and paste method.... i tired xcopy but file names get cut off... is there another way?

  1. Old DOS: "diskcopy" command. Not sure about the long names bit.

    Powerquest's "Drive Image" has a disk to disk copy tool.

  5. yea i was goin' at the problem the wrong way... last week some time i figured out to use ghost....but would you know why the destination hd is smaller than the host hd??? is there file compression when you clone?
