Give my chrome back

Hi, I was using Google Chrome (and cheerfully) and not Internet Explorer as my browser. Then came Babylon and i was at a loss. Then I tried to change the engine from babylon to google. It didnt work. Being a novice, I uninstalled Google Chrome(thinking that it would solve the problem.) As you know it didnt. Now every time I try to download Chrome , It does BUT ends up in AW SNAP. I mean It doesnot install. (Background to the problem Was my Unfortuate visit to Beemp3 site and getting Media Finder) Help me get back my Google chrome please. (I have windows 7) please this old uneducated(computer-wise) man. Thanks to all in advance.

Unitall the Babylon search extension from Add Remove Programs in Control Panel

Download and install Spybot Search and Destroy from Safernetworking
http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

Run and remove the problem spyware etc

Reinstall Chrome

from Control Panel I removed Babylon search in explorer and another babylon(something). There is another babylon in the mozila part(found in programmes) Do i need to uninstall that too? I tried installing chrome (4-6) times when I 'yes' in do you want Google to make changes __ It directly shows a blank Page with AW SNAP SOMETHING WENT WRONG ---

yeah remove them all then run spybot
