More Information

I'm on my old 400mhz celeron since my motherboard and power supply on my new system are broken. Anyway, I want to upgradde the RAM on the piece of crap because it has 64MB of physical memory and is using about 60MB of virtual memory with nothing running. How do I tell what kind of RAM it is. I'm guessing it is either PC100 or PC133. How do I tell what kind it is. I took it out to see if it said on it but it didn't. So if you know please help me out.

Most likely it's either PC66 or PC100. You should get a 128MB stick of PC133 to put in there, because it's backwards compatable to slower speeds, and being more common than the older memory types, cheaper.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

You might be able to tell by pulling the stick out and looking at it.
