I support a two router network for a small comunity library. The internet router has a static IP address to allow our card catalog to be on the Internet. We are limited to 5 IP addresses on this router, but have 5 workstations in addition to the server, so needed to expand the network. I configured a Linksys router and have it's WAN port connected to the Internet router provided by our ISP. All the workstations connect to the Linksys which hands out 192.168.1.xxx range addresses. The server connects to the Internet router and has an IP address that can communicate over the Internet. Up until today it was working beautifully; the workstations could communicate via browser with the card catalog software running on the server. The card catalog is accessible from the Internet and all the workstations can get to the Internet. Now suddenly the workstations can no longer ping the server but they can still browse sites on the Internet. Any thoughts on what could have impacted this? Appreciate any help that can be provided. Thanks!
