New to USA isp providers

so yeah lol as title says,mind me but i am from egypt and i'm moving soon to America but when i checked all the ISP providers..i did not understand a word for internet plans and as you know in egypt,we have very much simple internet than USA so what i am asking for is just a a small guide to the WHOLE internet operation in USA as i don't understand that 20/5mbs and that Cable vs DSL war thing .Thank you

Service really varies by provider, which depend on your location. Basically the fastest and cheapest reliable service is your goal. DSL or cable doesn't matter as long as the provider gets good reviews.
