I just bought an SB Extigy. And it still doesn't work. After a short time listening to music or watching a film, all sounds stop, and I even sometimes get a blue screen with some blah blah.

Does it require a more powerful system than mine? (Elite K7S6A, Athlon 1800+, 256DDR, DVD, CD-WRITER)

I need your help, please!!!

Why on earth did you get an extigy instead of an audigy for a desktop pc? Thats asking for trouble.

To answer you question though, you need to trade that in for a Turtle beach Santa Cruz. The Audigy/Extigy has incompatibility problems with that motherboard chipset according to several people i know. Its a driver problem with creative.

Which chipset does matter with my Extigy? It seemed to be so wonderful. But now, one month later, it still doesn't work!!
Please, Give me pieces of information. Maybe, I could get it the right way...
