Hi,

I just got my FTA 2500A receiver last night and I installed it.
My question is, I did a blind seard and didn't get some of the channels
I thought
I would get, could some one explain it to me.
The channels I'm talking about is like FX, WB, KTVD-TV(UPN) and more.

Thank You.

WB requires manual PID entry

FX is usually often encrypted.

If you are asking about KTVD on Galaxy 11, it is Digicipher II (4DTV)
and cannot be received with a DVB receiver.

Make sure you are scanning both polarities too.

you may have to adjust your dish position also. although you are getting a
nice anologe picture it won't mean that you can lock onto a digital one.
adj your dish back and forth until the digital peaks on your quality meter.
