Guys, I tried selecting EAX in Soldier Of Fortune 2 under the audio options, but when I do it changes to NONE and I end up with no sound. If I change it back to DirectSound (I think that what it was called) I get sound. Any ideas?

Spec =
Asus A7V333 + RAID
XP1900+
512Mb PC2100 DDr
3 x 40Gb HD
Soundblaster PCI512 (which supports EAX)

I left my sig here somewhere - let me know if you find it.

Thank you for your stunningly informative reply.

However, if anyone else can actually tell me WHY this card, which does support EAX, doesn't seem to support it in SOF2 - might it possibly be a XP issue.

Replies in the format of crap+crap=crap need not be posted.

Thanks in advance

What i said the first time was evidently alot more informative than you chose to believe. Its an older card without support for the latest games etc... upgrade. I wasn't foolin around, was quite serious. If you wanna use EAX in SoF2 get an audigy. Went through this myself a little while back.
