LNB Freq in Mghz???

Hi, I just got by C/KU 4DTV system going after about two years. I have
a sat cruiser DVB unit as well. I havent messed with this thing in
about 2 years... I remember a little, but am having trouble. The first
question is that the Sat Cruiser asks for LNB freq. in Mhz. What
should it be set for for C and for Ku??? I have presets of like 10600
and 12200 or something like that... is that in the ballpark?? does it
matter???I am trying to get the AK nets on AMC 7. I know how to
program in the transponder freq and the SEC... Any help would be

The 10750 MHz frequency is the local oscillator (LO) of the LNB
The frequency of the signal from the satellite is mixed with 10750
MHz.
If the signal from the satellite is 12,200 MHz
The result is

12,200 MHz (Ku-Band
- 10,750 MHz (LNB LO Frequency)
= 1450 MHz (L-Band)

- 10,750 MHz (LNB LO Frequency)
= 1450 MHz (L-Band)

Then you enter the correct receive frequency in the receiver menu and
the receiver will do the math!

C-Band it is a little deferent. The LO is 5150 MHz

the result is
SUM (receive frequency + LO frequency)
diffidence (receive frequency - LO frequency)

3980 MHz (receiver frequency)
- 5150 MHz (LO)
= (-)1170 MHz

Then you enter the correct receive frequency in the receiver menu and
the receiver will do the math!
