Hi all,


I have intervideo windvd.

Every time i checked a different region in properties and hit apply it goes right back to region one.

I tried all regions and it won't take.

Any suggestions?

I tried checking off each one from 2-6 and when i hit apply it pops right back to region one.

I don't understand why it's not taking.

I never viewed a dvd from a different region ,maybe i'm doing something wrong.

I have a lite-on dvd rom LTD122 if that helps.

As far as I know, the region is in the hardware not software.........usually you can modify your region a pre-set number of times before it becomes permanent.....I have four changes left on mine but I never set a region so it has been 4 for a long time.

If you use Windows, check your DVD drive's properties in Device Manager, if you can still set a region code, you will be able to do it there.

A program called "Region Killer" will fix your problem. Do a search on Google and download it for free. I had similar problem before and this program fixed it.
