Intervideo Win DVD region not taking,help?

Hi all,


I have intervideo windvd.

Every time i checked a different region in properties and hit apply it goes right back to region one.

I tried all regions and it won't take.

Any suggestions?

I tried checking off each one from 2-6 and when i hit apply it pops right back to region one.

I don't understand why it's not taking.

I never viewed a dvd from a different region ,maybe i'm doing something wrong.

I have a lite-on dvd rom LTD122 if that helps.

Will it not play the DVD's you're running? Because its self setting according to the time zone your computer is set at when you install the program, (unless your timezones were set wrong on your computer when the program was installed),it should play your DVD's, and if it is playing your DVD's theres nothing wrong with it.
