I was trying to replace the display light on the right side of the
tuner. When I was crimping the wire to bridge it to the new display
bulb wire I touched some sort of contact and the unit went dead. (It
was working perfectly). Does this sound like a simple blown fuse and if
so, should I relace all the fuses in the unit? Thanks, any help
appreciated.

Only that fuse which is blown, should be fine. Unplug the piece first.
This would serve as a lesson to some - don't work on live circuits unless
there is no choice but to do so.

You were doing it with the power on? Not a good idea.
