Windows detected performance is slow?

Hi. When I play bf3 after around 45mins, windows will always change my theme to win7 basic and a popup says "windows detected your performance is slow".

Why is this happening? I dont think my system is slow xD

i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz
GTX 570 @ 845mhz/1690mhz
16GB vengeance 1600mhz ram

Does BF drop out or slow up at that point too? If so, I'd go with temps causing something to throttle back. Could you monitor temps and see how high they go, and let us know what case you have.

Window will do that when running out of VRAM.

Type "advance system settings" in search box and select "view advance system settings".

On advance tab, click settings under performance.

In visual effect, select adjust for best performance and on the list, tick enable desktop composition, show thumbnails instead of icons, smooth edges of screen fonts and use visual styles on windows and buttons.

See if the problem persist after you change the settings.

No. BF3 does not drop in fps at all. my CPU temps maxes out at 57-60'Celcius, and GPU temps maxes out at around 60'C as well.

I have a Coolermaster Haf 922 Case, with a corsair H80 liquid cooling kit.
