Windows 7 shutting down suddenly due to upgrading

sometimes in the middle of working on my pc computer, Windows 7 shuts down alarming me for upgrading, how do I stop this , and guide it to do upgrading when I want it, let the the Windows 7 upgrades with a warning . Most of the times this sudden shutting down of the Windows disrupts my whole work and I lose everything I did, would someone helps, I am fairly new to pc.

There is a area to "Change settings"

Hi

Thanks for your concern, but I said in the post that I am pretty new to pc, and I saw a long array of different terms which I did not understand. I wanted to know how I can stop Windows closing everything to do upgrading while I am working on something, because I just loose everything Windows 7 every time it does to me. It is really frustrating. I appreciate your comment.
