Wireless switch

Hello,
The wireless switch on my HP Pavillion lights up while the computer is booting but turns off once the desktop is loaded. how can I get it to stay on?

If you mean your wireless adapter, depending on your model there may be a button right next to the wireless indicator light, however some models have them separated. Other models use an F key -- it would have a wireless icon on it, and you need to depress the function key and hit that F key.
