Is it a TO-3 cased output? Why only one?
Its good practice to replace all in a channel.

If its a higher current, higher voltage TO-3, you should
be able to get an aftermarket sub. Check the HFE of good
devices with a transistor checker for reference.

If I recall correctly, they were TO-66 devices(!)
