I want to set one up as a router and second unit as an access point with DCHP not enabled on the AP. Both devices will broadcast the identical SSID. My question is, should both units be set to same channel? More about : router RealBeast May 29, 2012 4:00:18 PM No, use different channels or you will get interference. Besides the same SSID, use the same WPA2 passkey. And it is best to assign the AP a reserved dynamic or static address that is not in the DHCP assignment range. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
