Sounds as if your recorded disc is not actually finalized.

Not sure - I've seen some models where you had to hit the "finalize" button
twice.

If it's finalizing, there will be some kind of countdown timer on the
display, 'cause it takes a couple minutes to finalize.

Thanks for everyones input. I had to hit the finalize button twice then
hit pause then it started to count down and the cd was done. Thanks
again.
