Wi-Fi Modems...

Hi Everyone,

I was looking to get a Time Warner Cable here. They have this option of having a Wi Fi modem that you can get for yourself. I don't wanna pay for the $13 monthly charge for it. I am planning to get a modem of my own. Could you suggest me one really good one.

Budget.... don't ask. Have very little idea about networking. Looking for brands like Cisco.... but they seem damn expensive.

I find the Motorola Surfboards to be the best. Fast, reliable, very few problems.

Spoiled..... The people at TWC say that I have to get the modem from their compatibility list or else it would not work! Not Fair!!!
