I like it and use it as a primary program.

it sucks. WINxp has a built in burner for random files. if I want to burn cd protected stuff, I use blind read write. Nero doesn't make good use of HDD speed.....

My frog asked me for a straw...dunno what happened he's all over the place

Posting in all caps, and "wandering" instead of wondering is not a good idea.

If you buy a burner (unless it is like completely OEM), it will likely come with a writing software. Most likely Nero or Adaptec.

Nero is ok, but I prefer NTI (www.nticdmaker.com). I'm currently using Nero though.

For game backups, I use CloneCD.

the only use I had for nero was burning files onto a cd. the winxp burner can do that. Otherwise, blind read/write copies cd's and makes audio cd's just fine.

I use Nero for burning files and making music CDs. I use CloneCD for backups.
