Simple upgrade question

Would current 32 bit pci cards (like a sound blaster live and a linksys NIC card) work with the new 64 bit pci slots on a mobo for the Hammer cpu? (its gunna have those right?) In that case, if I want to do a future upgrade, should I get like the Abit AT-7 that doesn't need expansion because it has all the features, or gt like the kx-7 333 and buy expansion cards? I think if I get the kx7, it will be cheaper in the long run.

I think so. I know you can run a lot of 64-bit cards in 32-bit slots (with a resulting loss of performance).
