Need help finding info for a Pansat ku HEMT LNB model HDP-601
Its a little older and has a mechanical polarizer on it.
What is the lnb type and frequency I would put into the 2500?
Also I think the motor in the thing is broken its getting 5v, but not
moving.
Is there a setting the the 2500 to enable the polarizer?

The older mechanical polarizers work exactly like a model airplane servo
motor. The 5-volt power is needed, but it will not move until you deliver
a repetitive pulse to it. The length of the pulse tells the servo which
angle to rotate to.

They usually expect a pulse about 1 - 2 millisecond in length to move
from one limit to the other.

Maybe you could just rotate the feedhorn manually until you figure out
a more convenient method.

I will try this but im still not sure what frequency i put in the reciever
for lnb frequency?
is it standard? universal-1, universal-2, singal-sl, single-sh, or standard?
there is no frequency printed on the thing

Use standard and set the LO frequency to 10750.
You can replace the polarotor by its self.
