Two way sync between Palm Tungsten E and Outlook XP Using ..

I am able to sync info from outlook to my palm, but I can't manage to
sync the info back. I sent the palm people an email and they told me
that it was not possible. Is this true? I would love to be able to
respond to my emails on my plam and simply sync with outlook and have
the messages send through my pc.
I use outlook on my home pc running xp. I don't have any fancy
business network I am using, simply earthlink mail service.
