Three years ago, I bought a Full Tower Case with a 350W power supply.

I am now building a new system with the following components:

P4 1.8A (Overclocked to 2.4)
ASUS P4S533
Samsung DDR 333 512MB (Overclocked to 400)
Western Digital 120GB 7200 RPM 8MB
SCSI DVD-Rom 10X (Toshiba or Pioneer)
Teac 8 X 16 X 32 CD-RW
Gainward GeForce 4 Ti 4200 W / TV-Out
TV Tuner (Not sure which one)
Sound Card (Not sure which one)
Widows XP Professional
RCA Cable Modem (External)
US Robotics 56K Modem (Internal)
Floppy Drive (Generic)
I plan to add an additional case fan for cooling

I plan to use the full tower case for the new computer. Do you think that I need to upgrade the power supply?

If so, would you recommend the Raidmax Dual Fan Pwoer Supply for P4/K7 Mobo PM-S40 (400W)?

I plan to buy the components this week. Any advice on my PSU or system would br greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It looks like 350w would cut it, but the more power, the better. When asked about power supplies, Enermax is the number one brand in my mind.

I would also recommend an Enermax PSU.

Thanks for the feedback.

Find out if you need the PSU to be ATX12V (ie does the motherboard require the extra connectors be used).

Mobo will be ASUS P4 S533. Does it require ATX12V?

Thanks again.

That board has the option of using a standard drive power connector I think, for the extra 12v amperage.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
