Skystar-2 Astra signals

I'm a total newbie to digital satellite and bought the skystar-2 pci
card and a dish which is correctly set up for the astra satellites at
19.2e....
When i do a channel scan in Dvb-Viewer it only finds 2 channels: 1) a
channel with just the Astra logo (and nothing else) and 2) Hdtv
channel which just shows a black screen. The signal for the Astra
satellite is about 50-60 %. (also tried scanning in ProgDvb with the
same results).
Am i missing something here, or am i just receiving the 2 strongest
channels from a very strong transponder ?? Assuming my skystar card is
not locked, what can be the problem?
