Is there any site where I can find speaker drivers with all specs
from different brands?
I like to build a new system. I did that before using Dynaudio
units but Dynaudio don't want to sell less then -too much- units
at the time.
Besides they are very expensive and as I found out, they aren't
the most dependable units in the world.
I am particularly interested in any kind of quality tweeter,
except the $2500 and above units :-)

Between these two links you should find plenty of drivers within
your price range:

Check out some of the drivers from MCM Electronics. They sell lots of brands
and have many drivers of their own brand. I've used a lot of their stuff and
it is nicely priced and well made.

Try: www.madisound.com, www.zalytron, www.solen.com

My understanding is that Dynaudio has deliberately withdrawn from the
do-it-yourself marketplace, and no longer make their drivers available
to distributors who serve that market.

Check out the Scan-Speak Revelator and its cousins.

I can recommend both the JBL 2404H and the Beyma CP25 from personal
listening, if either of those are suited for your project. Not that
any other driver might not be excellent as well, but in my application
these work great.

Madisound is the Number One distributor to the DIY speaker market,
except for horn and single driver builders.

As far as choosing a whole system's worth of drivers... Well... I think that
design time and effort is worth the most. If you are a home builder, you
don't care so much about being able to make this work with something you
already have thousands of... You don't care about saving 50ยข.You are not a
major manufacturer. This individual speaker system is worth some investment
of any kind of analysis that could be conjured... It's not such a big deal
to spend a few buck on this tweeter and that midrange to fallow a path of
reasoning to achieve your objective goals... testing or design... That is
what making a single set of home made speakers that is as good as can be
made by YOU is all about!

All I can say is... TRY IT! YOU'LL LOVE IT !!! Build your own Speaker
Systems !!! I've NEVER bought a pair of factory made speakers in my whole
life and I never will.

READ a lot. Follow the rules. It is all up to you and your understanding of
the time frequency domain and how it relates to physical, dynamic objects
that operate in the real world and how much they differ from the
mathematically pure concepts that you have to design with. And all of that
is MAGIC ! PURE MAGIC !!! All I can say is LEARN from your efforts. AND
Don't be a DICK about it. Ask questions. Share your growing knowledge with
others without insulting them or their understanding of it.

IT is art.

If it wasn't art, there wouldn't be so mangy variations within the art form.
