I have a Panasonic Matshita 8X4X32 CD-RW CW-7586.

I can buy the following for about 100.00 CDN.

Mitsumi CDRW 24x12x40x IDE w/ Nero Software $99.00

Samsung 16x10x32x IDE CDRW w/ Nero S/W $89.00

LG 24x10x40 IDE CD-RW, 8MB, Burnproof, EASY CD 5.0, S/W, $99.00

I have CloneCD and mostly burn games (backups of course)

if the lite-on is unavailable to you be sure .. absolutely sure that the one you DO get supports proper EFM encoding if not that backup of MOH you are attempting will not succeed Clonecd lists in the help section burners and capabilities so check there first .. if you are able .. I highly recommend a lite-on 32 or 40x they correctly encode the efm bit sectors. Last I looked either is availble at or below the prices of the drives you have listed
