Hi-Val & Samsung

Hello everyone!! From the posts it seem that you would prefer to go with Yamaha and other brand name stuff, but I'm a student so gotta stick w/ cheap stuffs until I get a real job. That said what do all think of the Hi-Val 32x10x40 for $49 USD? Or how about a Samsung at same speed for $39? (these are of course after rebate) Thanks all!

If you want something cheap and good then go for a liteon burner. I think they are around $50 usd or less.

I don't know anything about the Hi-Val burner, it's probably a relabled BTC, which is probably the worst on the market. The Samsung, on the other hand, may be even worse yet.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
