Newegg is out of stock on Samsung 512MB DDR 333 PC2700.

It has been stated repeatedly by others on this forum that it is improtant to get authentic PC2700. What other vendors besides Newegg sell the real thing?

Thanks for your help.

Fatburger,

I found some for $119.00 at Memorysuppliers.com.

Please take a look at their site and let me know if you think that it is the real deal.

Thanks again.

DO NOT order samsung ram from anyone other than Newegg. I searched extensively for hours the other night trying to find a reseller that listed the exact model number, and the only model numbers that i found were labeled as "customer samples" on samsung's site. The only reseller that has a legit "mass production" model number is newegg. I just gave up on this ram since samsung appears to enjoy hiding their products, just ordered corsair 512 xms3000 2 days ago.

Fatburger was right about Newegg.

Newegg just got the Samsung ram back in stock. I just placed my order.

Thanks again!

CRAP....I just orderd 1 Samsung 512 DDR Ram PC2700 333Mhz cas2.5 memory chip from Z-Buy.com for $99 bucks. I thought I was getting a great deal and now after reading this thread, I think my memory may not be an original. You guys think I should return it??

if they haven't shipped your order yet i would cancel it, but if it has shipped, when you get it, check the model number on the stick, and look it up on samsung's website. If it turs out to be legit (ie. mass production not customer sample), which i doubt it will for that $99 price, than keep it, if not, return that piece of sh1t and get a stick from newegg, their's is the only legit one that i have found.

Has anyone had any problems with their ram? I just built a new machine and it keeps coming up with memory access errors. I even had it crash during an xp install.

Thanks....I cancelled my order. I assumed that since it was made by a Major Brand it was good. I should have researched this before buying. I wish NewEgg wasn't in CA. I wouldn't have to pay the tax along with shipping. Oh well, thanks again for the help!
