Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Are you putting full stops in the address - 192.168.1.1 - or displaying it wrongly as in your thread title?

The way it is written how you write it.

Then it might be the wrong one. Press your Windows key and R together then in box that appears, type

cmd /k ipconfig /all

exactly as I have, including the spaces, then press the Enter key. A black form shows up and the address you need is in the list as the Default Gateway.

If it is 192.168.1.1 there must be a fault with the router if it won't even display the login page. If it does, try admin as the name and cisco as the password - that sometimes works in Linksys routers.
