I'm undecided between the NEC LCD71VM and PV920 Pro DVI. Does anyone own or have experience with the LCD71VM?? It's the only monitor in the latest THG review that doesn't have DVI, and that's probably why it is quite a bit cheaper ($460 incl tax+shipping) compared to $590 for PV920 Pro DVI.

The Viewsonic VP171b is too expensive (for that money I might as well get the PV920 Pro DVI) so it's either the LCD71VM or PV920 Pro DVI. I'm just not sure whether the PV920 is worth the extra money...

Just wondering, are you outside the US? If not, why is the Prophetview 920 Pro DVI so expensive? It can be had, at least up until yesterday for $550 w/ free shipping off Hercules' website.

I have seen both in diffferent shop on display here is France the NEC is also cheaper than the PV.
In one shop they were showing movie on the PV and I found it a little dark, may be it was not calibrated. Didn't have chance to test it.
In another shop I saw the NEC one showing a game demo, not sure which one, looks nice to me but again didn't have chance to test it out.
But the first impression I had was the NEC 71VM looks better than the PV920 Pro.

Thanks. I'll probably give it a try because I just saw that Dell is having a big LCD monitor sale. The NEC is now $396.06 with free shipping/no tax.
