Memory Banks

How does ram work? Will the computer completely fill bank0 before moving onto bank1? Or will it balance it between the 2 banks allowing the data to be written twice as fast? So I have 384mb of ram right now, split over 2 banks (128, 256). I dont run any ram intensive programs cept a few games every now and then, but would I gain much by filling that 3rd bank with another 128 stick?

  1. You probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.

  2. Well, that depends on both the logical architecture of the chips and the methods the OS chooses to use.

I'm not really human, I just play one on TV
