Why is my internet slow on my new desktop via wireless connection?

Hello everyone!

I've just had a custom computer built and I seem to have a problem with my wireless internet connection. I have a Realtek 8185 extensible 802.11b/g

wireless adapter. My computer recognizes my house's network and is connected to the internet with a good connection, but when I open up my web

browser it takes a very long time for the page to load and sometimes never does. The laptop I'm on right now is connected to the same internet and it is

running just fine. I've uninstalled the device and rebooted to have the driver reinstalled but the problem still occurs. What can i do to solve this

problem?!

I've updated my driver and it finally did the trick!
