Toshiba pro 440 cdt how to get it out of safe mode

I am writing to you to see if you can tell me how to get my computer out o fsafe mode . I have an old toshiba 440 cdt and i hit something and it went into safe mode and i cant get it out . i have windows 1998 in it . Can you help me to get it out of safe mode

try resetting the pc, watch it boot up.

pressing F8 usually prompts for windows for start up options: boot safe mode, safe mode/w networking... last known good config, start windows normal.
