for not typing number 2 press the shift key and then number 2 and you will get @

what keyboard layout is set in Operating System ? (for Windows change via 'Control Panel' 'Region & Language')

what character does 'shift' '3' produce ? (on UK keyboard 'shift' '3' is '£' (UKP))
