hello, can someone please help me with my pc, just recently i moved my pc downstairs (same floor as my router) and ever since my wifi has been disconnecting at random i tried updating drivers and swithcing pci slots but all that did was keep it connected longer before disconnecting and it won't connect unless i restart my computer. also my wifi router is a D-link WBR-2310 and my wireless adapter is a pluscom 54mbps wireless pci adapter. i don't think it is a connection problem because when it is connected it's signal strength is "very good". one last thing if it means anything there is a washer/dryer stacked up around 3 o'clock to my computer and my router is 2 o'clock to my computer.

any suggestions what might be wrong/how to fix it

thanks in advance.

Solution
Washer and Dryer cause a lot of EMI. you do not want any computer equipment near it.
