Question about Good gaming sites?

Hi all

I am a studennt and I have to do a summer project about web site design. I
chose the subject of computer game web sites since there's so many out there
and most of them are IMHO not quite what they could be.

I'm doing a bit of research at the moment and I'd like to know what other
gamers think.

Going for the broadest scope, what do you like to see?

MMORPG stuff like Allakhazam?

Which of those areas are the most important to you, and what are most sites
lacking?

I'm just after vague ideas at the moment, finding out what is important to
people so I can come up with a design.

If anyone is willing to post a reply it would be greatly appreciated.
