I have been using my receiver for quite some time witht he S-Vidoe from
the DVD player going direct into the TV input.
I have recently purchased a DTV STB and have taken the S-Video to the
receiver and also moved the DVD S-Video to the receiver and plugged the
TV S-Video input into the monitor output.
The S-Video signal does not seem to pass through the receiver but the
composite (AV) signal is passed ok.
A colleuge at work with the same series model is reporting the same
fault / flaw.
Are there any settings in the manual (I have looked) or not in the
manual that have to be made to enable S-Video?

I would guess the S-video inputs / monitoring needs to be selected in the
receiver menus. They two types, composite and S-video, would not cross over
in this model, by the way.
