Nad 5340 CD Player

This unit was working perfectly but started to skip intermittingly.
Tried one of those CD cleaners and vacuumed laser mechanism ..Did not
correct the problem. Is there any thing else that I can try as unit is
now old? Thank you

At the least a proper cleaning of the laser lens is in order. Cleaning discs
really don't do anything worthwhile.

Well, yes, cleaning a disc is sometimes necessary :-)

A commercial cd or dvd cleaning disc, however, is mostly useless.
